Sierra Marine Timing Belt for Yamaha Outboard Engines

Sierra Marine Timing Belts are replacement outboard timing belts (also called cam belts or camshaft drive belts) for Yamaha four-stroke outboard engines. The belt keeps the crankshaft and camshaft(s) synchronized, so valve timing stays accurate and the engine runs smoothly. Sierra builds these belts for marine use.

Key Features:

• Meets or exceeds OEM belt specifications
• Nitrile construction for durability
• Fiberglass tension member for excellent flex and elongation behavior
• Chemical and contaminant resistance for long service life
• Positive, slip-proof engagement for accurate timing
• Direct OE-style fitment and replacement

Service Recommendation: Sierra recommends replacing the timing belt every 5 years or 100 hours of use, whichever comes first. Replacing it on schedule helps protect the engine from unexpected belt failure.

Sierra offers this line in multiple part numbers to cover a range of Yamaha outboard engine families. Choose the specific item that matches your engine's OEM belt number.
