Sierra Timing Belt for Yamaha Outboard Engines

The Sierra timing belt line for Yamaha outboard engines is a replacement cam belt (also called a timing belt or camshaft drive belt). It keeps the crankshaft and camshaft synchronized, so the valves open and close at the right time. Sierra designs these marine belts to replace the original equipment belt on supported Yamaha outboard powerheads.

Key Features:

• Replacement timing belt made for marine outboard use
• Reinforced construction resists stretching, wear, and fatigue under continuous engine load
• Toothed profile engages the sprockets positively to keep timing accurate
• Built to hold up in the heat, moisture, and vibration of marine operation
• Helps maintain smooth running, reliable starting, and consistent power delivery

Replacing the timing belt at the manufacturer's recommended service interval helps prevent belt failure. A failed belt can cause a sudden loss of power and expensive engine damage. Sierra is a well-known marine aftermarket brand that supplies engine parts for outboards, sterndrives, and inboards. Choose the specific part number in this product line that matches your engine.
