Sea-Dog Line Rectangular Base Rail Fitting

Sea-Dog Line Rectangular Base Rail Fittings are marine-grade 316 stainless steel rail base fittings. They are also called rail mounts, hand rail fittings or stanchion bases. Each fitting gives a boat's railing or hand rail tubing a secure, low-profile rectangular mounting base on deck, console or cabin top.

Key Features:

• Investment cast 316 stainless steel construction resists corrosion in saltwater and harsh marine environments.
• Rectangular base gives a stable mounting footprint for the tubing.
• Set screws included where appropriate to lock the tubing in the fitting. Replacement set screws can be purchased separately (299999-1).
• Simple installation: a 1/8" Allen wrench tightens the set screws. The fitting is mounted to the deck with flat head (FH) fasteners, which are not included.
• Designed for stainless tubing with a 0.049" wall thickness.

Sea-Dog Line offers this rectangular base style in several configurations, so you can match the fitting to your rail layout. They suit new rail installs and replacement of worn or damaged rail bases on boats.
