Product Details

Sea-Dog Line Rectangular Bases are 316 stainless steel rail base fittings. Use them to mount, replace or add stainless steel boat rail, handrail and stanchion tubing on your deck, console or gunwale. They are also called rail base fittings, rail mounts, stanchion bases or rail seats.

Key Features:

  • Investment cast 316 stainless steel construction resists corrosion in marine environments.
  • Rectangular base spreads the load across the mounting surface for a stable rail connection.
  • Fits stainless steel tubing with a 0.049" wall thickness.
  • Set screws are included where appropriate to lock the tube in the fitting. A 1/8" Allen wrench is required to install them.
  • Mounts with four flat head fasteners. The fasteners are not included.

It was easy!

box contained 2 headlamps. Would suggest using more packing material, based on the fragility of the shipment. one box was perfect and protected the lens as the manufacturer intended. The second box had the bulb out of place. lens was not broken, but one of the electrical prongs was slightly bent due to handling.
