Quicksilver Water Pump Repair Kit for Mercury Mariner Outboard

The Quicksilver Water Pump Repair Kit is a replacement service kit for the raw water cooling pump on Mercury and Mariner outboard motors. The water pump circulates water through the engine to control operating temperature. Over time the impeller wears, hardens or loses its shape. A worn impeller can reduce cooling flow and lead to overheating. Rebuilding the pump with fresh components helps restore cooling performance and protect the powerhead.

Key Features:

• Made by Quicksilver, the genuine parts and accessories brand for Mercury Marine and Mariner outboards
• Replaces the wear items in the lower unit water pump, with the impeller as the main component
• Helps restore water flow and cooling efficiency
• Designed to meet OEM fit and performance expectations
• Suitable for routine seasonal maintenance and overheating repairs

Why Replace the Water Pump Components:

• Reduces the risk of overheating and costly engine damage
• Restores strong tell-tale (pilot) water stream output
• Gives peace of mind for saltwater and freshwater boating

Mercury and Mariner generally recommend inspecting the water pump impeller regularly and replacing it as part of scheduled maintenance. Choose the specific kit variant that matches your outboard model and year.
