Engineered Marine Products Engine Coupler

The Engineered Marine Products (EMP) Engine Coupler line gives stern drive owners aftermarket replacement engine couplers (also called coupling assemblies or drive couplers). The coupler links the engine flywheel or crankshaft to the stern drive input shaft. It carries engine power through to the drive and takes up the rotational load between the two.

Product Line Highlights:

• Aftermarket replacements for many popular stern drive engine couplers, with cross-references to common OEM and aftermarket part numbers
• Designed to restore proper power transfer between the engine and the stern drive
• Steel construction for strength under high torque loads
• Several coupler styles are offered across the line, including hub-style and triangular flywheel-mount designs
• Select part numbers are offered as kits or assemblies with mounting hardware, as documented for each individual part number

A worn or damaged engine coupler can cause vibration, noise, and drive-line wear, so replacing it helps keep the drivetrain running smoothly. Choose the child item that matches your engine and drive configuration to get the right coupler for your application.
