Solas Interchangeable Hub Kit for Rubex D-Series Propellers

The Solas Interchangeable Hub Kit (also called a Rubex RBX hub kit) is the replacement propeller hub system for Solas Rubex D-Series interchangeable-hub propellers. It connects the propeller to the engine's prop shaft. It seats in the propeller's hub cavity to cut hub chatter and vibration, so you get smoother, quieter running.

Key Features:

• Seats in the propeller hub cavity to reduce hub chatter and vibration
• Hub does not spin inside the propeller
• Reusable if the propeller is damaged, so you can move the hub to a new propeller
• 10-degree deflection reduces banging when shifting gears or striking a submerged object
• Anodized aluminum splines; select kits are available with bronze hubs
• One-piece rubber construction with no plastics to deteriorate
• Includes the hardware needed for installation
• Works with Mercury Flo-Torq and Michigan Vortex interchangeable-hub propellers

Each hub kit is matched to a specific engine or drive application, spline count and gearcase. Match the right kit to your engine and propeller series with the Solas RBX application chart. A hub kit does not come with a propeller. Follow the engine manufacturer's manual for installation and prop nut torque. Solas dual-prop and B3 installations need front and rear propellers that are both made by Solas and made of the same material.
