Valterra Speed Box Toggle Switch with Cover

The Valterra Speed Box Toggle Switch with Cover is a self-contained, heavy-duty wall switch (also called an interior light switch or RV wall switch) from Valterra's Diamond Group line. It is a two-part system. You can install it without a stud, an outlet box, wall plates, or wire nuts.

Key Features:

• Speed Box design: The switch and its snap-on decorative cover work together, so you don't need a separate electrical box.
• Built-in adjustable pawls: These secure the switch to the wall opening.
• Simple wiring: It is made for use with unstripped, grounded 14-2 or 12-2 NM cable. No wire stripping is required.
• Screw mount: It mounts with screws and finishes with a snap-on cover.
• Approvals: The line is CSA approved. Some listings also describe it as UL listed.
• Durable build: It is made for demanding RV applications.

This line suits RV interior lighting and other 125V AC switch circuits. It works well for replacement or new installs where you want a clean look and quick installation. Installation requires the SCD installation tool, which is sold separately.
