Taylor Made Buoy Rod Mooring & Fishing Buoys

The Taylor Made Buoy Rod is replacement mooring buoy hardware for traditional center-rod mooring buoys, such as the Sur-Moor line. It passes through the center of the buoy and gives you a secure connection point for your mooring chain and pennant line. Use it to repair or upgrade an existing mooring buoy.

Key Features:

• Hot-dipped galvanized steel rod: resists corrosion and stands up to harsh marine conditions.
• Swivel at the bottom of the rod: helps keep the mooring chain from twisting.
• Complete hardware: includes galvanized washers and a nylon core lock nut for a secure fit.
• Sized to match the buoy: available in different lengths, so you can pick the rod that fits your buoy.

The rod is not designed to replace the chain in a thru-chain style buoy. The metal rod in a traditional mooring buoy can corrode where you can't see it, so inspect it regularly and replace it when needed. Taylor Made makes marine products and is part of the Lippert family.
