Whitecap Industries Galvanized Rope Thimbles

Whitecap Industries galvanized rope thimbles, also called galvanized steel wire rope thimbles or rope eye thimbles, give a spliced rope or wire rope eye a strong, well-shaped loop. They suit marine, boating, anchoring, docking and general rigging uses.

Key Features:

• Forged, hot dipped galvanized steel construction for strength and corrosion resistance
• Guides rope into a properly shaped loop, which reduces wear and stress on the rope and attached fittings
• Gives a sturdy attachment point for shackles, snaps and swivels
• Suits braided or twisted rope, as well as wire rope eyes
• Sold in a range of rope sizes, so you can match the thimble to your line

Fitting a thimble inside a rope eye keeps the rope from chafing and collapsing under load. Whitecap Industries is a well-known supplier of marine hardware and boating accessories. These thimbles are a dependable choice for anchor lines, dock lines and rigging.
