Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Anode with Stainless Steel Allen Head Screw - Zinc

Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Anodes are zinc sacrificial anodes that protect propeller shafts and related underwater metal parts from galvanic corrosion. They are made for saltwater use. This line is also sold as shaft zincs and prop shaft anodes. Each anode has a stainless steel Allen head screw.

Key Features:

• Zinc alloy construction for saltwater corrosion protection
• Mil-spec alloy: Martyr alloys are made to meet or exceed U.S. military sacrificial anode specifications
• Streamlined profile that reduces drag on the shaft
• Two-piece interlocking halves that wrap the shaft with a 100% circular radius for full shaft contact
• Stainless steel Allen head hardware with lock washers and bolt-retaining washers, which help keep the anode from coming off after installation
• Extra alloy around the fasteners so the anode lasts longer around the screw
• Underwater installation: the anode can be fitted without hauling the boat

Zinc anodes erode as they protect the metal around them. Check them regularly and replace them once they are mostly eroded. The Martyr Anodes line gives boat owners a dependable, easy-to-install way to guard shafts and props against galvanic corrosion.
