Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Anode with Stainless Steel Allen Head Magnesium Anodes/Zincs

Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Anodes are sacrificial shaft anodes (also called shaft zincs) that protect propeller shafts and underwater running gear from galvanic corrosion. A stainless steel Allen head hardware design makes installation and replacement straightforward.

Key Features:

• Two-piece interlocking design: the halves fit together and clamp around the shaft for full shaft contact and good electrical continuity.
• Streamlined profile: shaped to reduce drag and turbulence ahead of the propeller.
• Stainless steel Allen head hardware: secures the anode to the shaft, with bolt retaining washers on the magnesium models.
• Marine-grade alloys: available in magnesium, zinc and aluminum so you can match the anode to your operating water. Magnesium suits freshwater. Zinc and aluminum suit saltwater and brackish water.
• Quality manufacturing: Martyr says its anodes are made using an ISO 9001 certified process. Its magnesium anodes use a high-purity alloy based on a US Mil Spec.

Replace worn anodes on a regular schedule to keep your shaft, propeller, struts and other underwater metals protected. Choose the anode material that matches the water your boat operates in.
