Martyr Anodes Yamaha Outboard Anode Kit - Aluminum

Martyr Anodes Yamaha outboard anode kits in aluminum are sacrificial anode replacements. They help protect your outboard engine's underwater metal parts from galvanic corrosion. Martyr is a trusted marine corrosion-protection brand, and these kits give your outboard the same protection whether you're doing routine maintenance or getting ready for a new boating season.

Key Features:

• Aluminum alloy construction: suited to saltwater and brackish-water use, and designed to meet or exceed US Military Specification Mil-A-24779(SH)
• Cadmium free: the aluminum alloy contains no cadmium, which is found in some traditional zinc anodes
• Longer life, lighter weight: Martyr says its aluminum anodes protect at least 5% better, last 50% longer, and weigh 50% less than traditional zinc anodes
• Designed as direct-fit replacements: each kit is made for Yamaha outboards, so it replaces the worn original anodes
• Mounting hardware included: fasteners come with the kits for installation
• Consistent quality: Martyr makes its anodes under an ISO 9001 certified process

Sacrificial anodes corrode in place of your engine's more valuable metal parts, such as the lower unit and propeller. Check them regularly and replace them once they are significantly eroded. This helps extend engine life and keeps your outboard performing at its best.
