Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Anode with Stainless Steel Hardware

Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Anodes protect propeller shafts and the attached hardware from galvanic corrosion. They are sacrificial shaft anodes, also called shaft zincs, and they are built for pleasure craft and other marine use. Stainless steel hardware is included for mounting.

Key Features:

• Streamlined design: a tapered profile helps limit drag and turbulence in front of the prop.
• Interlocking halves: the two halves lock together around the shaft for a secure fit.
• Full shaft contact: a 100% circular radius gives even contact with the shaft for reliable electrical continuity.
• Extra alloy around the fasteners: added material around the screws helps the anode stay in place as it erodes.
• Stainless steel hardware: corrosion-resistant fasteners, with bolt retaining washers that help keep the anode from falling off.
• Easy installation: the design allows straightforward installation, including underwater.
• Alloy options: Martyr offers its streamlined shaft anodes in alloys suited to different water conditions. The zinc versions use mil-spec alloy for saltwater use.

Martyr Anodes makes premium marine sacrificial anodes. Replace a shaft anode once it has eroded to about 70%, so the shaft and prop stay protected.
