Martyr Anodes Stainless Steel Propeller Shaft Anode

Martyr Anodes Stainless Steel Propeller Shaft Anodes (also called shaft zincs or sacrificial shaft anodes) protect your propeller shaft and underwater running gear from galvanic corrosion. The anode corrodes in place of more valuable submerged metals. That helps prevent pitting and metal loss on shafts, propellers, struts and other underwater propulsion components.

Key Features:

• Sacrificial corrosion protection: Helps extend the life of shafts, propellers, struts and other submerged hardware.
• Stainless steel hardware: Resists corrosion and gives a secure, lasting fit.
• Two-piece design: The interlocking halves are made to give full 360° contact with the shaft. This supports good electrical continuity.
• Streamlined profile: Designed to limit drag in the water while protecting the shaft.
• Quality manufacturing: Martyr Anodes are made to meet or exceed U.S. Military specifications. Martyr is the only manufacturer offering zinc, aluminum and magnesium alloys.

Martyr has specialized in sacrificial anodes since the early 1900s. Its anodes are designed for use in saltwater, brackish and freshwater environments. Replace shaft anodes regularly to keep your boat's underwater metals protected.
