Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Anode with Stainless Steel Allen Head - Aluminum

Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Anodes are aluminum sacrificial anodes (also called shaft zincs) that protect inboard propeller shafts from galvanic corrosion. The anode corrodes in place of your shaft, which helps protect your underwater metal. This aluminum line is made for use in salt water and brackish water.

Key Features:

• High-purity alloy: Made from a specialized aluminum alloy based on US Mil Spec requirements. It is kept free of impurities such as iron that can reduce performance.
• Streamlined profile: The low-drag shape is designed for inboard propeller shafts.
• Interlocking halves: The two halves interlock for a snug fit and full contact with the shaft.
• Stainless steel Allen head hardware: Stainless Allen head screws secure the anode to the shaft.
• Retaining washers: Bolt retaining washers help keep the hardware in place during installation.
• Easy installation: The anode clamps onto the shaft, so it can be installed underwater.

Martyr is a well-known name in marine cathodic protection. Replacing worn shaft anodes on a regular schedule helps protect your propeller shaft and related underwater hardware. Choose the size that matches your shaft diameter from the available options.
