Permatex High Temp Red RTV Silicone Gasket Maker

Permatex High Temp Red RTV Silicone Gasket Maker is a high-performance, form-in-place gasket material. It seals and replaces pre-cut gaskets on engines, transmissions, and other assemblies that see high heat. Use it as an RTV silicone sealant, gasket sealer, or gasket compound where you need a durable, flexible seal.

Key Features:

• Red RTV silicone formula designed for high-temperature applications
• Forms a flexible, durable, vibration-resistant seal
• Resists oil, water, and many automotive fluids and coolants
• Cures with moisture from the air to form a rubber-like gasket
• Bonds to many common surfaces, including metal, and works as a form-in-place gasket
• Helps seal valve covers, oil pans, timing covers, water pumps, thermostat housings, and intake manifolds

Application Notes: Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, and old gasket material before you apply the sealant. Apply a continuous bead and assemble the parts. Follow the directions on the package for cure time and torque procedures.
