Ge Appliances BTU High Efficiency RV Rooftop Air Conditioner

The GE Appliances High Efficiency RV Rooftop Air Conditioner line is a family of roof-mounted RV air conditioners. They are built for travel trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes. Each unit is designed to cool an RV efficiently while drawing less power than conventional rooftop units. Some models in the line add heat pump operation. Heat pump models also give you heating in cooler weather.

Key Features:

• High-efficiency design: The units are engineered to run on a 15 amp circuit. This leaves room for more electronics to run alongside the A/C.
• Multi-unit friendly: The lower amperage draw helps larger RVs on a 50-amp service add a third A/C unit, such as one in the bedroom, without overloading the system.
• Modern R32 refrigerant: Newer models use R32 refrigerant, which has a lower global warming potential than R410A and no ozone depletion potential.
• Heat pump options: Heat pump versions can cool in summer and heat in cooler weather. They use Auto Changeover with Auto Defrost to operate down to about 25°F outdoor temperature. This can help cut propane use for the furnace.
• Flexible heating modes: Heat pump models offer heat pump only, heat pump with furnace, or furnace only.
• Purpose-built for RVs: The units are designed to fit the standard RV rooftop opening. They are available in a range of configurations and finishes.
