B&W Patriot Rail-Mounted Fifth Wheel Hitch

The B&W Patriot Rail-Mounted Fifth Wheel Hitch is a lightweight 5th wheel hitch for towing fifth-wheel trailers and RVs. It is a rail-mounted design that fits industry-standard above-bed mounting rails. B&W describes it as a lightweight, rail-mounted cousin of its Companion hitch. It is built for a smooth, quiet towing experience.

Key Features:

• Fits industry-standard rails: Pin the base in the rails, then set the coupler on the upright arms. Mounting rails are sold separately.
• Fully articulating head: The head pivots front to back and side to side. This helps it follow the trailer through turns and over uneven ground.
• Cam-action latching handle: The handle is easy to reach and releases easily, even when the rig is parked on unlevel ground. When the handle is closed, the cam keeps the jaws from opening accidentally.
• Wrap-around jaws: The jaws are machined to fit the kingpin closely, so there is little slop in the connection.
• Polyurethane bushings: They prevent metal-to-metal contact. This cuts down on rattle and road vibration.
• Adjustable setup: The pivot arms let you set the hitch height. The base position can also be adjusted for bed rail and cab clearance.
• Durable construction: The hitch is made of heavy-duty steel with a powder-coat finish.
• American-made: It is backed by B&W's limited lifetime warranty.

The Patriot line comes in several towing capacity and configuration options. Choose the one that suits your truck and trailer. It gives rail-mounted fifth wheel towing at a lower weight and cost than B&W's Companion.
