Awlgrip SE Tint Base Semi-Transparent Additives

Awlgrip SE Tint Base semi-transparent additives are tint bases for the Awlcraft SE basecoat system. They are used to build and adjust custom marine colors, including special-effect shades. Boat owners and professional painters use these tint bases, also called toners or color tints, to mix and match colors for yachts and other boats.

Key Features:

• Made for the Awlcraft SE basecoat/clearcoat system, which has a very wide palette of solid, metallic and pearl colors
• Semi-transparent tint bases for building color depth and adjusting hue
• Part of the Awlgrip color mixing system, so shades are consistent and repeatable
• Awlcraft SE basecoats dry fast and are easy to repair, which reduces downtime
• Made by Awlgrip, a long-established name in marine coatings

Application Notes:

• Awlcraft SE is designed for spray application
• Finish with a high-gloss clearcoat such as Awlgrip HDT Clear or Awlcraft 2000 Clear for protection and gloss
• Follow the Awlgrip technical data sheet for mixing ratios, reducers and converters

These tint bases give painters accurate control over color when mixing and matching custom Awlcraft SE finishes. The finished system gives a durable, high-gloss marine finish.
