Shields Hose ShieldsFlex II Series 250 is a wire-reinforced marine water and exhaust hose, also called wet exhaust hose or raw water hose. It is built for engine intake, wet exhaust connections, bilge pump lines, and other onboard plumbing. It works well where a run needs bends or extra length.

Key Features:

• Construction: black synthetic rubber tube and cover, with a wire helix embedded between plies of heavy-duty synthetic cord
• Crush resistance: the wire helix helps keep the hose from collapsing under pressure while still allowing moderate bends
• Chemical and environmental resistance: resists exhaust fumes, ozone, mild chemicals, antifreeze, and saltwater
• Durability: resists abrasion and odor permeation, and offers more ozone resistance than the SAE J2006 requirement
• Temperature range: -20°F to +200°F continuous, with intermittent exposure up to +250°F
• Standards: meets SAE J2006 Type R2
