Camp Zinc Johnson Evinrude Outboard Anode

The Camp Zinc Johnson/Evinrude Outboard Anode line offers sacrificial zinc anodes (also called outboard zincs or galvanic anodes) for Johnson and Evinrude outboard motors. Each anode corrodes in place of the metal parts around it, such as the transom bracket, trim tab, and lower unit. This helps protect the engine from galvanic corrosion.

Key Features:

• Zinc alloy construction: Made for use in salt water. Zinc is not recommended for fresh water.
• Military specification alloy: The alloy is made to meet or exceed US Mil-A-18001.
• Made by Camp: Camp Company is a US manufacturer of marine sacrificial anodes. Its anodes are used on recreational, commercial and military vessels.
• Direct-fit designs: Anodes in this line are made for various Johnson and Evinrude outboard models and mounting locations, so you can pick the one that matches your engine.

Inspect anodes regularly and replace them once they have eroded significantly. Anodes subject to cavitation will wear faster. After installing a new trim tab anode, check propeller clearance. Keeping fresh anodes in place is a simple, low-cost way to protect your outboard from corrosion damage.
