Camp Zinc Propeller Nut Anode Alloy Marine Corrosion Protection Anodes/Zincs

Camp Zinc Propeller Nut Anodes are replacement sacrificial anodes (zincs) that protect your propeller shaft hardware from galvanic corrosion. Camp Company is an established manufacturer of marine anodes. The line gives boaters a simple way to protect underwater metals such as the shaft, propeller and nut. It is also sold as a prop nut zinc, shaft nut anode or propeller nut zinc.

Key Features:

• Sacrificial zinc construction: the anode corrodes in place of more valuable underwater metals such as the propeller, shaft and running gear.
• Threaded propeller nut design: the anode mounts on the shaft end, so it can protect the propeller assembly directly.
• Multiple sizes in the product line: the line covers a range of shaft diameters and thread sizes, so you can pick the one that matches your shaft.
• Replacement-style anodes: when the zinc is consumed, you can usually replace it without replacing the whole nut assembly.
• Made for saltwater and brackish-water use: zinc is the traditional choice for these environments.

Inspect the anode regularly and replace it once it has eroded significantly. Replacing it on time keeps the protection working and helps extend the life of your propeller and shaft hardware. Some sizes use a separate brass nut or screw, so check the individual item listing for what is included.
