Camp Zinc Keel Cooler Anode

Camp Zinc Keel Cooler Anodes are sacrificial zinc anodes (also called keel cooler zincs) that protect the metal parts of a marine keel cooling system from galvanic corrosion. Mounted on the keel cooler, the anode corrodes in place of the cooler's metal. This helps extend the life of the cooler and the cooling circuit it serves.

Key Features:

• Zinc construction: Zinc is the standard sacrificial anode material for salt and brackish water.
• Mil-spec quality: Camp marine zinc anodes conform to MIL-A-18001.
• Made in the USA: Camp Company is a leading manufacturer of marine anodes and builds its zinc and aluminum sacrificial anodes in the United States.
• Multiple styles: The line covers different keel cooler designs, including single-stem and multi-tube coolers.
• Proven in service: Camp anodes are made for recreational, commercial and military vessels.

Installation and Care: Do not paint the anode, because paint blocks its protective action. Inspect it often and replace it once it has significantly eroded. Anodes exposed to cavitation decay faster.
