Camp Zinc Barrel Shaft Collar Anodes/Zincs

Camp Zinc Barrel Shaft Collar Anodes, also called zinc shaft anodes or propeller shaft zincs, are sacrificial anodes. They protect your boat's underwater metals from galvanic corrosion and electrolysis. The anode corrodes in place of the propeller shaft, struts, bearings and other submerged hardware. This makes it a basic part of saltwater corrosion protection.

Key Features:

• Zinc construction suited to saltwater applications
• Mil-spec zinc that conforms to MIL-A-18001
• Copper contact on each half for a permanent electrical ground connection
• Stainless steel hardware cast into the zinc for a secure, lasting clamp
• Barrel collar design that fits around the propeller shaft
• Made in the USA by Camp Company

Installation and Care Notes:

• After installing a new anode, check propeller clearance before starting the engine.
• Do not paint the anode. Paint stops it from working.
• Inspect anodes often. Anodes exposed to cavitation wear out faster.

Choose the child item that matches your shaft diameter. Each one gives you dependable sacrificial protection for your propeller shaft.
