CMP Aluminum Rudder Trim Tab Anode Set for Salt Brackish Water Anodes/Zincs

CMP aluminum rudder and trim tab anodes (also called rudder zincs or trim tab zincs) are sacrificial anodes. They protect your boat's underwater metals from galvanic corrosion. Aluminum alloy suits both salt water and brackish water, so one anode works in boats that move between environments.

Key Features:

• Aluminum alloy construction for salt and brackish water, unlike zinc, which is meant for salt water only
• Sacrificial protection: the anode corrodes in place of your rudder, trim tabs and other submerged metal parts
• Pressure-diecast manufacturing to strict quality standards, using high-purity metals
• Disc-style design made for rudders and trim tabs
• Simple mounting with fasteners and bolt-retaining hardware, depending on the item

Inspect your anodes regularly and replace them once they are significantly consumed. Do not use aluminum anodes in fresh water. Choose the correct size and style for your rudder or trim tab from the available options on this page.
