Barton Marine Towable Genoa Car Purchase Black Sailing Parts & Accessories

The Barton Marine towable genoa car with 2:1 purchase, also called a towable T-track genoa car or line-adjust genoa car, lets you trim the headsail from the cockpit. A control line leads aft, so the crew can adjust the sheeting angle without going forward. The compact design also reduces the chance of sheets fouling.

Key Features:

• Precision-turned Ertalyte sheave: Runs on a large-diameter bearing for smooth, low-friction performance under load.
• Wide sheave design: Accepts the sheet and control line for a clean 2:1 purchase.
• Molded nylon slide inserts: Help the car run freely under load. They also protect the finish and help prevent corrosion.
• Stainless steel plunger stops: Positive-action stops with easy-grip knobs let you set the car position securely.
• Marine-grade aluminum construction: Anodized for protection in marine environments.
• Broad T-track compatibility: Designed to run on most types of functional T-track.
• Modular system: Part of Barton's range of towable genoa car systems, with heavy-duty options for larger craft or higher loads.

Barton Marine genoa cars are a popular choice with sailors, riggers and boat builders. They suit cruising and racing yachts, and they give reliable headsail control and long service life.
