Fill-Rite GPM Micron Water Detecting Filter Element

Fill-Rite water detecting fuel filter elements, also called Hydrosorb fuel transfer filters or water-blocking filter cartridges, protect fuel transfer pumps, meters and dispensing equipment. They remove particulates and detect water in the fuel. Each filter is rated by micron size and by the maximum flow rate (GPM) of the transfer system it is designed for.

• Water detection: The media absorbs water and restricts flow when excess water is present, which signals that the filter needs attention.
• Particulate filtration: Removes dirt, silt, rust and corrosion particles. It also helps limit microbial buildup that can cause fuel discoloration.

Fill-Rite recommends changing filters about every six months to keep protection and performance at their highest. Water contamination is the biggest risk to a fuel supply, and fresh filtration helps keep fuel transfer systems running reliably.
