Seaview Direct Mount Wedge for Closed Dome Radars

The Seaview Direct Mount Wedge (also called a radar wedge or angled radar mount) goes between your mounting surface and a closed dome radar (radome). It is made for installing the radome directly on a cabin top or radar arch, with no forward, vertical or aft leaning radar mount.

Key Features:

• Compensates for deck angle: The wedge angles the radar 4 degrees below horizontal. This offsets the bow-up attitude of a planing hull and can improve radar performance.
• Direct mount design: It fits directly underneath the radar, between the radome and the mounting surface.
• Durable construction: It is made from marine-grade polymer for use in a marine environment.
• Easy installation: It is pre-drilled for the specific radar it is made for, so installation is quick and simple.
• Broad brand compatibility: Models are available for closed dome radars from major manufacturers such as Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad, Furuno, Lowrance and Koden. Choose the model that matches your radome.

Seaview makes radar mounts, wedges and adapters for marine electronics. This wedge is a simple way to get the radar level and improve its performance on boats that run with a bow-up angle.
