Forespar Twist Lock Tiller Extension with Universal Joint

The Forespar Twist Lock Tiller Extension with Universal Joint (also called a telescoping tiller extension or hiking stick) gives you extra reach and a comfortable steering position at the helm. It suits racing and cruising sailors, and it has a long record on small boats.

Key Features:

• Twist-lock telescoping design: Composite cam locks bite crisply and positively. They release freely with a quick turn of the wrist, so you can set the length you want.
• Stainless steel universal joint: The joint is machined from stainless steel. It lets the extension pivot so you can steer from different positions in the boat.
• Aluminum tubing: Lightweight, marine-grade aluminum tubing resists corrosion and holds up to repeated use on the water.
• Comfortable rubber grip: An easy-to-hold rubber compound ball grip is securely fastened to the end of the tube.
• Quick-release tiller attachment: The extension fastens to the tiller when you press the plunger and insert the detent pin into the tubular fitting supplied. A light push on the plunger releases it, so you can stow it or take it with you.

Forespar has made tiller extensions for sailors for more than 30 years. This line is built for easy adjustment and secure, repeatable performance in a marine environment.
