Samlex Portable Solar Charging Kit with Charge Controller

The Samlex portable solar charging kit (also called a portable solar battery charger or foldable solar panel kit) is a plug-and-play way to charge and maintain 12V lead-acid batteries away from the grid. Unfold the panels, connect them to the battery, and start charging. You don't need brackets, permanent mounting, or a complicated wiring diagram.

Key Features:

• Built-in solar charge controller: The integrated 10 amp controller regulates charging and helps protect the battery from overcharging.
• Folding crystalline solar modules: The panels sit in strong anodized aluminum frames that resist rust, and they use high-transparency solar glass for good light transmission.
• Adjustable support legs: You can change the panel angle for better sun exposure. Turning the panel toward the sun a few times a day can noticeably increase charging.
• Protective carrying case: The panels fold into the case for easy transport and storage. The case protects them when the kit isn't in use.
• Easy connection: The kit is designed for quick hookup to a 12V battery system, and connection hardware is supplied. Check the specific model for the exact connectors and cable length.
• Long-life panels: Samlex backs the solar panels with a manufacturer power warranty. The term varies by model and region.

Typical Applications:

• RVs, trailers, and automotive batteries
• Boats and marine craft
• Motorcycles and powersports batteries
• Cabins, camping sites, and remote equipment
• Off-grid, mobile, and emergency backup power setups

Samlex America is a well-known maker of power inverters, battery chargers, and solar equipment. Each kit gives you a portable, low-maintenance way to keep 12V batteries topped off wherever you take them. The battery is not included.
