Viega MegaPress Stainless Steel Coupling with Stop FKM Pipe Fitting

The Viega MegaPress Stainless Steel Coupling with Stop is a press-connection pipe fitting, also called a press coupler or stainless press coupling. It joins two lengths of stainless steel pipe in a straight line. The built-in stop sets the pipe insertion depth, so the pipe seats correctly before pressing. FKM sealing elements are included for dependable sealing in demanding piping systems.

Key Features:

• Press connection: Joins pipe with a press tool, so you don't need threading, welding, grinding or heavy equipment.
• Coupling with stop: The internal stop makes pipe positioning quick and repeatable.
• FKM sealing elements: FKM (fluoroelastomer) seals are suited to many fuel, oil and other demanding applications.
• Stainless steel construction: Resists corrosion in commercial, industrial and marine plumbing and piping.
• Grip and separator rings: Stainless steel rings are built into the fitting for a secure, durable joint.
• Viega Smart Connect feature: Helps installers identify connections that haven't been pressed during pressure testing.
• Compatible pipe: Made for use with off-the-shelf stainless steel pipe in standard schedules.

Viega MegaPress stainless fittings suit commercial, industrial and marine installations. Typical uses include compressed air, low-pressure steam, fire protection and many fuel and oil systems. Pressed connections are faster to make than welded or threaded joints. They also avoid hot work and fire-watch requirements. Installation should be performed by a licensed professional following Viega's instructions and the correct press tooling for the fitting.
