B & S Anodes Pencil Zinc Anode Replacement

B&S Anodes pencil zinc anodes are replacement sacrificial anodes for marine engines. They are also known as zinc pencils or engine zincs. The zinc corrodes in place of the metal parts in your engine's cooling system, which helps guard against galvanic corrosion and electrolysis damage. Replace them regularly to keep that protection working.

Key Features:

• Zinc construction for sacrificial corrosion protection in raw-water cooled marine engines
• Hand-poured in the U.S.A. by B&S, which has been making anodes for over 50 years
• Available in zinc-only versions and complete versions with a plug. Plug versions are listed as zinc pencils with bronze or brass plugs.
• Threaded design for direct installation in the engine or heat exchanger
• Cross-references to common Bossler & Sweezey, Camp, Martyr, Sierra and other engine zinc part numbers are listed on individual part numbers

Choose the zinc-only or complete version that matches your engine's existing anode. Check the zinc at regular service intervals and replace it once it has eroded. Doing so helps protect heat exchangers, oil coolers and other engine components from corrosion.
