Tecnoseal zinc rudder anodes (also called rudder zincs or trim tab anodes) provide sacrificial corrosion protection for the rudder and nearby underwater metal on boats. Zinc is the standard anode material for saltwater use. It corrodes in place of your rudder and other submerged metal parts.
