Fireboy Carbon Monoxide Alarm DC Marine

The Fireboy-Xintex DC marine carbon monoxide (CO) alarm, also called a CO detector, helps protect the people on your boat from carbon monoxide poisoning. It runs on 12/24V DC boat power and is compact enough to mount in cabins and other accommodation spaces. It is part of the CMD6-M series.

Key Features:

• Microprocessor-controlled sensor that measures CO levels
• Time-weighted average (TWA) measurement monitors CO concentration, temperature and time to calculate carboxyhemoglobin (COHb) levels
• Alarm point of 10% COHb with an 85 dBA audible horn
• Low current draw of about 4 mA
• Backup power: permanent internal lithium-metal batteries back up the 12/24V DC supply
• Chemical resistant: the sensor resists most chemicals, solvents and cleaners
• Conformal-coated circuit board adds protection in the marine environment
• Long sensor life: approximately 7 years
• Compact design for inconspicuous installation
• Safety standard: conforms to UL 2034

Install a CO detector in each accommodation space. Small craft with an open design may need only one. If two or more sleeping areas or spaces are partitioned, put one detector in each space. Fireboy-Xintex marine CO alarms give boaters dependable, low-maintenance CO monitoring.
