Uniden Fixed Mount VHF Marine Radio with DSC

Uniden fixed mount VHF marine radios with DSC (Digital Selective Calling) give boaters dependable ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore communication. They are built to be permanently installed at the helm. Each radio transmits at 1 or 25 watts, so you can use low power for short-range calls or full power for maximum range.

Key Features:

• Digital Selective Calling (DSC): Send distress, individual, urgency, safety and test calls. Calls go out on channel 70 using a unique MMSI identification code.
• Full channel coverage: Includes all USA, International and Canadian marine channels, including 4-digit and Canadian B channels.
• Weather alerts: NOAA weather channels with S.A.M.E. (Specific Area Message Encoding) alerts. These warn you about severe conditions in your programmed area.
• Scanning and monitoring: Memory channel scan and triple watch let you keep track of priority channels while you monitor others.
• Easy-to-read display: A backlit display and keypad make the radio easier to use during night runs.
• GPS and NMEA connectivity: NMEA 0183 input and output let the radio connect to a compatible GPS. This supports position sending and requests through DSC.
• Marine-ready construction: Water-resistant design for exposed boat environments.

Uniden marine radios are typically supplied with a mounting bracket and knobs, a microphone hanger and mounting hardware. They are backed by a manufacturer warranty. Whether you run a small fishing boat, a cruiser or a sailboat, these radios offer a practical way to add DSC distress capability and reliable VHF communication to your vessel.
