Caframo Ultimate Marine Fan with Lighter Plug Fans

The Caframo Ultimate marine fan with lighter plug is a compact 12V DC utility fan for boats, RVs and campers. It moves much more air than its size suggests and draws less than half an amp. It runs straight from any 12V accessory socket (cigarette lighter socket), so it needs no wiring. Caframo's website calls it the Ultimate 747, and the company describes it as its most popular marine fan.

Key Features:

• Grill-free FingerSafe blade: the shock-absorbing leading edge flexes when the blade is stopped, so no protective grill is needed. This helps airflow, keeps noise down and makes the fan easy to clean.
• Two speed settings: choose low or high airflow to suit conditions.
• Low power draw: the long-life motor has minimal impact on the battery. The 2-speed motor also creates minimal electronic interference, so it can be mounted near the nav station.
• Lighter plug cord: a 6 ft cord ends in a 12V lighter plug adapter.
• Flexible mounting: use the suction cup mount to move the fan around the boat, or screw it down on the permanent base. An adjustable base and tilting head let you aim air in any direction.
• Marine-ready design: it stays in place in rough seas and is designed for quiet, dependable operation.
• Warranty: Caframo backs it with a 1-year limited warranty.

The model 747 has been recognized by Practical Sailor magazine as a "Best Buy" in the marine market. It suits cabins, berths, galleys and helm stations, and also works in RVs, campers and vans. It is made in Canada.
