Accumetric BOSS RTV Silicone Sealant Clear Caulks & Sealants

Accumetric BOSS RTV silicone sealant is a one-part, paste-like silicone adhesive sealant. It cures to a tough, rubbery solid when exposed to moisture in the air. You can use it as a silicone caulk, gasket maker, weatherproofing sealant or general-purpose adhesive. It works on automotive, marine, trailer, appliance, HVAC and general industrial jobs.

Key Features:

• One-component, acetoxy-cure formula, so there is no mixing
• Non-sagging, non-slumping paste that can be applied overhead or on sidewall joints without running
• Bonds to clean metal, glass, many types of wood, silicone resins, vulcanized silicone rubber, ceramics and many plastic surfaces. A primer may be needed for some surfaces.
• Fast tack-free time, typically 10 to 20 minutes at 77°F and 50% relative humidity
• Resists weathering, UV, ozone, moisture, vibration and temperature extremes
• Stays flexible after curing and resists cracking, shrinking and drying out
• Service temperature range of -40°F to 400°F once fully cured
• Can be applied in sub-zero weather without losing extrusion or physical properties

Typical Applications:

• Sealing and bonding trim, trailers, truck cabs and marine cabins and windows
• Forming gaskets in place and bonding gaskets
• Sealing sheet metal joints, ductwork and equipment housings
• Sealing around windows, doors, vents and fixtures
• Sealing gaps, cracks and leaks in general maintenance and repair
