Pyi Inc Hose Clamp Jacket

PYI Inc Clamp Jackets are EPDM rubber hose clamp covers, also called hose clamp protectors or tail covers. They slip over the sharp tail of a worm gear hose clamp or T-bolt clamp. They help protect hands from cuts and scrapes, and they protect surrounding materials from scratches and abrasion. They also give the finished job a clean, tidy look.

Key Features:

• Durable EPDM rubber construction: resists weathering and performs well with brake fluids, acids, alkalies, ketones, oils, greases, water and steam.
• Wide temperature range: rated from -65°F to +300°F (-55°C to +150°C).
• Easy installation and removal: non-slip side grips make them easy to put on and take off.
• Self-aligning lip: an extended lip guides the jacket over the clamp tail.
• Secure hold: the inside is notched to grip the clamp and help keep the jacket from slipping off.
• Fit options: PYI offers jackets sized for standard worm gear hose clamp band widths and for T-bolt style clamps.

Clamp Jackets suit marine, automotive, industrial, military and household projects. They are an inexpensive way to guard against injuries from exposed hose clamp tails. PYI also includes them on its PSS shaft seals.
