Gen-Y Hitch BOSS Torsion-Flex Adjustable Drop Receiver Trailer Hitch

The Gen-Y Hitch BOSS Torsion-Flex adjustable drop hitch (also called a drop receiver or adjustable ball mount) is a heavy-duty trailer hitch. Rubber torsion arms isolate the trailer connection from the tow vehicle. Gen-Y says this cuts inertia transfer to about 10% of a standard rigid hitch, and that customers report up to 90% smoother towing.

Key Features:

• Torsion-Flex rubber arms: cushion the connection between the tow vehicle and the trailer to reduce jolts and bounce.
• Fully adjustable: a fixed drop is chosen when ordering, and you can then fine-tune the height within that range using the retaining pin and ball mount.
• Steel construction: the hitch is a heavy-duty steel build.
• Dual-ball mount: a dual-ball mount is included on the models documented by the manufacturer, and a pintle lock is included or optional depending on the model.
• Tested and patented: Gen-Y states its hitches are tested to exceed SAE J684 weight testing requirements. The design is protected by U.S. patents.
• Warranty: Gen-Y lists a 5-year warranty on the rubber components and a limited lifetime warranty on the remaining components.

For the best ride, stay within the tongue weight range specified for your model number. Choose the model with the towing capacity, receiver size and drop that match your tow vehicle and trailer.
