Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch

The Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch line gives you powered pulling and lowering for trailers, shops, garages and other fixed or utility jobs. Depending on the model, the winches run on 120-volt AC power or on a 12-volt DC vehicle battery. Dutton-Lainson builds the StrongArm line in the USA. Whichever configuration you choose, you can use it as an electric utility winch or as a trailer winch.

Key Features:

• Power in, power out: The motor drives the load both ways, so the load doesn't free-fall.
• Spring-loaded or controlled clutch: The clutch lets you release the cable or strap without using power. This makes it easier to pay out line and remove the cable or strap.
• Easy control: Depending on the model, control comes from a Load/Unload switch, a rotary switch or a plug-in remote.
• Strong pulling line: Models use galvanized aircraft cable or heavy-duty polyester strap. Some include a pulley block and snap hook for double-line pulling, which increases capacity.
• Built-in protection: Depending on the model, features include circuit-breaker overload protection, a dynamic motor brake and an automatic mechanical friction brake.
• Durable, compact design: Spur gear construction. Some models have a high-impact, weather-resistant case for use in demanding environments, including marine settings.

Electric winches should be used intermittently, because continuous run time is limited. Check each model's specifications for its capacity rating, line type and length, and power requirements.
