Viega MegaPress Stainless Steel Slip Coupling without Stop FKM Pipe Fitting

The Viega MegaPress stainless steel slip coupling without stop is a press-connection pipe coupling. It joins two lengths of stainless steel pipe without threading or welding. Because it has no internal stop, the coupling can slide fully over the pipe. This makes it useful for repairs and for tight spots where the pipe can't be moved. It's also called a slip coupler or repair coupling.

Key Features:

• Stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance
• Press connection that needs no welding, threading, or open flame
• FKM sealing elements, with grip rings and a separator ring
• For use with Schedule 5 to Schedule 40 stainless steel pipe
• Slip design without an internal stop for flexible positioning
• Viega Smart Connect feature helps installers spot unpressed connections during pressure testing, on applicable MegaPress fittings

MegaPress stainless fittings are designed for commercial, industrial, and marine plumbing and piping systems. Pressing is a fast, clean way to make a secure joint. It also avoids the hot work, fire watches, and cleanup that come with welded joints. Larger sizes in the line may need MegaPress XL rings and a PressBooster or Z3 actuator for installation. Installation should be done by a qualified professional using compatible press tools.
