Seachoice Magnesium Rudder Trim Tab Anode Diameter Anodes/Zincs

The Seachoice magnesium rudder and trim tab anode (also called a rudder zinc or trim tab sacrificial anode) helps protect your boat's underwater metal parts from galvanic corrosion. The anode corrodes in place of the metal parts it protects. It is made of magnesium for fresh water use only.

Key Features:

• Magnesium construction gives higher protection than zinc in fresh water
• Cadmium-free design
• Lighter than zinc, and it corrodes less than zinc
• Well suited to aluminum hulls
• Installation hardware included, with an Allen screw for mounting to the rudder or trim tab

Check the anode regularly and replace it once it has mostly corroded away. That keeps your rudder and trim tab protected throughout the boating season.
