Sea-Dog Line NMEA Drop Cable

The Sea-Dog Line NMEA 2000 drop cable (also called an NMEA 2000 device cable or N2K drop cable) links a marine electronics device to your boat's NMEA 2000 backbone through a T-connector. It lets chartplotters, GPS units, depth and fish finders, wind instruments, engine monitors and other NMEA 2000 devices share data on one network.

Key Features:

• Connects NMEA 2000 devices to the network backbone through a T-connector
• Part of the Sea-Dog NMEA 2000 line of connectors, cables and accessories, which includes T-connectors, backbone cables, terminators and adaptors
• Designed for marine electronics networks and the wet, corrosion-prone conditions on a boat
• Uses standard NMEA 2000 connectors, so it works with compatible network components
• Offered in several lengths to suit different routing needs

Sea-Dog has long supplied marine hardware and electrical components to boaters. A drop cable is a simple way to add a device to an existing NMEA 2000 network or to build a new one. When you route it, keep it away from heat sources and avoid sharp bends or pinch points.
