Seastar Solutions TFXtreme Gen II Control Cable Foot Mercury Replacement Cables

The Seastar Solutions TFXtreme Gen II Mercury Control Cable is a marine shift and throttle replacement cable. It is built as a drop-in replacement for Mercury Gen II control cables. This line is also sold as an engine control cable or remote control cable, and it was formerly branded Teleflex Marine.

Key Features:

• Patented splined core: Gives easy inner cable movement with minimal lost motion.
• Smooth operation: A 10-contact-point core lets the cable glide in both directions.
• Durable outer casing: Heavy-duty black HDPE jacket resists UV, salt water, oil, gasoline and other chemicals.
• Corrosion-resistant fittings: Stainless steel and brass end fittings.
• Tight routing: 4 in. minimum bend radius.
• Drop-in installation: Uses your existing connection components.
• Built for the marine environment: Suited to complex or long cable runs, and helps any control operate with less drag and wear.

These cables are compatible with Mercury 4000 series Gen II controls. Sizing tip: measure the old cable from tip to tip and round up to the next foot. For a new installation, measure the routing path and round up. Outboard installations need extra length for a service loop at the engine to prevent kinking.
