Seastar Solutions Xtreme Control Cable Replacement Cables

SeaStar Solutions Xtreme control cables are marine throttle and shift control cables. They are also called engine control cables or remote control cables. They are made as replacements for original-equipment cables on outboard, sterndrive and inboard installations. SeaStar Solutions was formerly Teleflex Marine. The Xtreme line is built around a patented splined core that gives smooth, precise control.

Key Features:

• Patented Xtreme splined core: Ridges on the core keep contact with the inner liner to a minimum. This gives easy movement and minimal lost motion, even on long or complex cable runs.
• Tighter bend radius: Xtreme cables have a 4-inch minimum bend radius on the standard Xtreme types, compared with 8 inches for standard cables. This makes routing easier in tight spaces.
• Super tough HDPE jacket: It resists abrasion, UV, salt water, chemicals, gasoline and oil.
• Oil-tempered lay wires: They add strength and durability.
• Quality fittings: The fittings are stainless steel and brass for corrosion resistance in the marine environment.
• Drop-in replacement design: The cables are engineered to replace original-equipment cables and use the existing connection components.
• Standards: SeaStar Solutions states that its control cables exceed ABYC safety standards and ISO/IMCI/NMMA certification requirements.

Xtreme cables suit applications that need a precise, smooth feel at the control. These include performance and bass boat foot throttles and long or complex cable routings. Choose the cable type and length that matches your controls and engine.
