Dometic BTU Marine Air Conditioner Retrofit Unit

The Dometic EnviroComfort marine air conditioner retrofit kit line is a self-contained, reverse-cycle boat air conditioning system. It is meant to replace an older self-contained marine AC unit of comparable capacity. One system cools in summer and heats in cooler weather, so you can stay comfortable onboard year-round without a major rebuild of the existing installation.

Key Features:

• Reverse-cycle cooling and heating from a single system
• R410A refrigerant, a current-generation refrigerant
• Self-contained AC unit with a digital control and bezel for simple operation
• High-velocity, rotatable blower that allows horizontal or vertical installation
• Plastic electrical box that can be mounted remotely, up to 6 ft (1.8 m) away
• Stainless-steel drain pan that is easy to plumb
• Pre-installed return-air filter that is easy to remove and clean
• Compact, space-saving design for tight boat compartments

Retrofit kits are intended to replace an existing self-contained marine air conditioner of similar capacity. They can also be used for a new air conditioning installation. For a new installation, Dometic offers separate installation kits for air distribution and plumbing components. A dual duct kit is also available to condition a second interior space. Both are sold separately. Choose the BTU capacity and voltage that match your existing unit and your vessel's electrical system.
