JR Race Car Hardline Black Nitride Shaft Gas Spring Force

The JR Race Car Hardline Black Nitride Shaft Gas Spring line gives you the proven reliability of a JR Products gas spring (also called a gas strut, lift support or gas prop) with a nitride-treated shaft added. It suits hatches, hoods, access doors, lids and other panels that need controlled lift and hold-open support.

Key Features:

• Nitride-coated shaft: adds corrosion resistance, especially when used with the all-composite PS130 end fitting.
• Annealed steel rod: a strong rod construction built for consistent, repeatable performance.
• Black appearance: suits applications that need both quality and a clean, all-black look.
• Range of options: available in a variety of force ratings, lengths and end fittings, so you can match the spring to your application.

To choose a replacement, measure the extended length from the center of one mounting hole to the center of the other. Then measure the exposed piston (the stroke) and pick the closest extended length. Select the child item that matches your size and force requirements.
