Mirka Coarse Cut Grip Disc Grit Hand Sanding Pad

The Mirka Coarse Cut Grip Disc line gives you aggressive, durable abrasives for hand sanding with a grip (hook and loop) sanding pad. The discs are built for heavy stock removal, so they suit coarse sanding of lacquer, putty, glass-reinforced polyester and welding seams. The grip backing lets you swap discs quickly when you move to a new grit.

Key Features:

• Reinforced backing: A specially reinforced F-weight paper backing stands up to heavy use.
• Progressive Bond™ technology: Mirka's resin-over-resin bonding with dust-binding technology helps resist clogging.
• Edge durability: The discs resist edge wear, which helps prevent torn edges and uneven scratch patterns.
• Aluminum oxide grain: A semi-open coating cuts consistently on a wide range of materials.
• Grip (hook and loop) backing: Discs attach and release easily on compatible grip-faced hand sanding pads.
• Flexible on curves: The discs conform well to round and contoured surfaces.

These discs are used in automotive, marine, composite, metal and woodworking work. Suitable materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, hardwood and softwood, MDF, chipboard, plastics, fiberglass, lacquers and paint stripping. Choose the grit that fits your task from the available options. Mirka Coarse Cut gives professionals and serious DIYers a dependable way to remove material quickly and prepare surfaces for finer sanding.
