Mirka Galaxy PSA Sanding Disc Grit

Mirka Galaxy PSA sanding discs are premium ceramic abrasive discs with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing. They are also called self-adhesive or stick-on sanding discs. They suit professional sanding in automotive, collision repair, marine and woodworking shops. The PSA backing attaches directly to a compatible smooth PSA sanding pad, with no hook-and-loop interface needed.

Key Features:

• Self-sharpening ceramic grain: the blue ceramic grains form fresh cutting edges as they wear. This gives a fast cut and long abrasive life.
• Tough film backing: the backing resists edge wear and holds up during demanding sanding.
• Clog-resistant, dust-repellent coating: the stearate coating keeps the abrasive surface open and cuts down on loading.
• Multi-purpose performance: the discs work on both soft and hard materials and on a range of substrates, including filler, primer, paint, gelcoat, epoxy and polyester resin, wood and metal.
• Easy finishing: the finer grits polish out easily and leave a consistent scratch pattern.
• Wide grit range: the Galaxy line runs from coarse to ultra-fine, so one product family covers shaping through finishing.

Mirka Galaxy gives long life, fast cut and a smooth finish in one abrasive. It is a good choice for shops that want fewer disc changes and consistent results.
